Wanted

Tucson police are looking for two women who scammed a man out of several thousand dollars in February. The man was in town for the annual gem show and he was staying at a downtown hotel, when he received a late-night phone call from someone he mistook for a friend. The caller told the man his car had broken down and asked to borrow the money. The caller told the victim he would send two women to the hotel to collect. The women, who were photographed by surveillance cameras, are thought to be between 25 and 30 years old. One is described as between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-6-inches tall and 130 to 140 pounds. She was wearing denim pants and a grey or white hoodie-type jacket. The other woman is about 5-feet-4 inches tall and 120 to 140 pounds. She was wearing a dark-color tights and a camouflage jacket.
