Wanted

Tucson police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who tried to rob a south-side Wells Fargo Bank. Shortly before 3 p.m. March 11, 2013, the man walked into the bank at 802 W. Ajo Way, and passed a teller a note that implied he would harm her if she didn’t give him money. The teller, who was behind a bullet-resistant barrier, announced that a robbery was in progress and ducked behind the counter. The man left without any money and drove away in a silver-color car. He is described as in his mid-20s to mid-30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and185 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved T-shirt, tan pants and sunglasses.
