Freshman Cayman Bundage, 19, from Oklahoma City, gets on the right side of "Dee" while being helped by fellow classmate and senior Jacob Shirley, 22, during the Introduction to Horsemanship class. Even though it is more traditional to get on a horse from the left side, the students are taught to use both sides of the horse, said Laura Walker, the instructor and manager of the equine center.
