Tucson gun buyback

Tucson police officers inspect handguns and rifles before they're disassembled at a gun buyback event Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Tucson Police Department Midtown Substation in Tucson, Ariz. In the background, interested parties offer larger sums of cash to purchase them on the spot. Gun owners waited in lines over an hour to relinquish their weapons in exchange for a $50 Safeway gift card.
