Despite dominating the distance events, Arizona lost both sides of a dual meet to Cal on Saturday at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.

The Wildcat men lost 174.5-123.5 even though Matt Barber took the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyles.

The UA women got a distance double and a win in the 200 butterfly from Alyssa Anderson, but Cal, led by Sahuaro High School graduate Caitlin Leverenz, won 165.5-135.5.

Leverenz won the 100 and 200 breast stroke events and the 200 individual medley and swam on the victorious 200 medley relay team.
