Baillie Kirker homered twice and Brigitte Del Ponte hit a grand slam as the Arizona Wildcats topped St. John's 13-5 Sunday in five innings at Hillenbrand Stadium.

A second scheduled game against Idaho State was canceled after rain halted play in the second inning.

The No. 2-ranked Wildcats (16-1) spotted St. John's two runs in the top of the first, then took the lead with a five-run rally in the bottom of the inning, capped by Kirker's two-run homer.

Del Ponte's slam, her fourth homer in four games, made it 9-2 after two innings.

Sarah Akamine (5-1) got the win.
