At Rincon/University, after giving up an early score, Sahuaro (4-1) rattled off seven touchdowns in the first half, overwhelming Rincon/University (0-5) with its quick-strike offense. Six different players scored for the visiting Cougars, who have won three straight.

• Highlight reel: Leading 7-6 in the first quarter, Sahuaro QB Laramie Brown hit WR Cole Sterns on a quick screen for a 30-yard touchdown pass.

  • Sterns had 232 all-purpose yards and three scores for the Cougars, including two long punt returns in the second quarter.
