It took him 22 holes, but Bubba Watson is moving on to the third round at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.

Watson, the 2012 Masters Champion, beat Jim Furyk after the former Arizona Wildcat bogied the final hole. Watson nailed his par putt to move on.

He is the only player left in the field who is in the top ten in the world golf rankings.

Luke Donald and Louis Oosthuizen, the top seeds in the Sam Snead and the Ben Hogan brackets respectively, were eliminated in today's second round.

Oosthuizen fell to American Robert Garrigus 3 and 2. Donald was beat by Scott Piercy 7 and 6.

Justin Rose, ranked No. 5 in the world, and the No. 2 seed in the Hogan bracket, was also eliminated. He fell to Nicolas Colsaerts 4 and 2.

Defending champion Hunter Mahan moved on to the third round with a 4 and 3 win over Richard Sterne.
