Fresh off a round of golf with President Barack Obama, Tiger Woods arrived at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain this afternoon in advance of his first round match with Charles Howell III on Wednesday.
Woods arrived at the golf course a little after 1 p.m., and met with reporters. He shared some insight into what it was like to play with Obama.
The two played 18 holes at the Floridian Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.
"He called me and said 'Tiger, you want to play some golf?'" Woods joked. "No, it's obviously a little more complicated than that. There's a whole process that happens. It's obviously an invitation you don't turn down."
Woods said he was impressed with Obama's game and enjoyed the round. It's the second time he's played with a President. Woods said today he's also played with President Clinton in the past.
After some time on the driving range, Woods was expected to play a few practice holes. He tees off against Howell III at 12:25 p.m., tomorrow. With cold and rainy weather conditions expected, Woods joked that none of the players will be working on their suntan.
