Longest drive

377 Paul Casey had the day's two longest drives: 377 yards at No. 2 and 367 yards at No. 10.

Most birdies in a win

6 Tim Clark, Nick Watney and Luke Donald each birdied six holes as they advanced to the round of 16.

Most birdies in a loss

4 Defending champion Geoff Ogilvy birdied four holes but couldn't overcome Camilo Villegas.

Longest match

20 The day's first match and the day's final match both went 20 holes. Retief Goosen topped Ernie Els in the finale; Oliver Wilson eliminated Rory McIlroy in the first.

Shot of the day

Camilo Villegas' five-iron shot hit the pin from 244 yards on the 13th hole, bouncing 2-feet, 10-inches away. It was an easy eagle in a match that was tied with defending champ Geoff Ogilvy.

Shortest match

13 Luke Donald required just 13 holes (six of them birdies) before sending Robert Allenby home.

Killer putt

26-10Charl Schwartzel drained a 26-foot, 10-inch putt at No. 16 for a birdie to eliminate Jim Furyk.
