The third round of the WGC-Accenture Match Play was delayed 45 minutes because of frost on the course. It was the third time in the last four days there was a delay.

Play started at 7:55 a.m., rather than 7:10. Players began their rounds on the first and 10th tees. Robert Garrigus and Fredrik Jacobson went off on one, while Scott Piercy and Steve Stricker started on the 10th in the first two matches of the day.

Defending champion Hunter Mahan will now tee off at 8:31 a.m., against German Martin Kaymer.

After suffering through delays on Wednesday and Thursday, the plan for today called to play the third and fourth rounds. The fourth round was expected to start at 11:30 a.m. That moves now to 12:15 p.m.
