At Santa Rita, senior running back Kevionte Alexander scored on a a 19-yard run with about 1:30 remaining in the game to lift the Rangers to a road victory.

The win improved Rincon/University to 4-1 on the season. The Rangers led 14-0, but Santa Rita (2-3) scored twice in a row to tie it.

• Highlight reel: Santa Rita blocked a Rincon/University field goal in the second half, one of three missed field goals for the Rangers.

• Player of the game: Alexander finished with 211 yards on 31 rushes and scored all three of Rincon's touchdowns.

• By the numbers: 299: Santa Rita quarterback Gary Uselton threw for 299 yards on 24-for-45 passing. Two of his receivers (Elijah Anderson and Keimon Sims) had more than 100 yards each in the loss.

• He said it: "We had a great win last week, but we came out tonight and played very sloppy. We'll obviously take it because any road win is a good win, but we need to clean it up." - Rangers coach Nate Gahn
