Quarterback

C- Nick Foles was understandably rusty in his first game since Oct. 16, completing 28 of 48 passes for 248 yards and a touchdown. He was intercepted once, on the Wildcats' final drive before halftime, and made a handful of mental mistakes.

Running backs

B The UA ran the ball well. Keola Antolin gained 86 yards on 16 carries and scored a touchdown, while Greg Nwoko (eight carries, 49 yards) looked solid suffering a leg injury. Nicolas Grigsby (1 carry, 2 yards) was slowed by a sprained ankle.

Wide receivers

C- Juron Criner continues to show why he's one of the Pac-10's top receivers. He caught nine passes for 98 yards and a touchdown and ran the ball three times for 50 yards. David Roberts (seven catches, 59 yards) and David Douglas (four catches, 23 yards) were solid, but dropped some key passes.

Offensive line

C+ The good news: Arizona's line cleared the way for 180 rushing yards against an impressive Stanford front. The bad: Stanford's defense teed off on Foles, sacking him twice and knocking him down another half-dozen times.

Front 7

C- Paul Vassallo (11 tackles) and Derek Earls (10 tackles) were solid from the linebacker spots, but consider this: Arizona had just one tackle-for-loss and didn't sack Stanford's Andrew Luck.

Secondary

D The secondary was under siege, allowing 293 passing yards. Luck completed 23 of 32 passes, two for TDs. His success could spell the end for starting cornerback Trevin Wade, who was benched after getting beat by Chris Owusu in the first quarter. Shaquille Richardson finished the game.

Special teams

B-Alex Zendejas hit a 33-yard field goal to get Arizona on the board and Keenyn Crier averaged 45.8 yards per punt, pinning Stanford inside its 20 twice.
