At first glance, the Arizona Wildcats don't have a lot to sell season ticket holders on heading into the 2011 season.

The UA is in the middle of a five-game losing streak, the most recent loss coming in an Alamo Bowl blowout against Oklahoma State. The Wildcats' 2011 home schedule includes games against Northern Arizona and Louisiana Lafayette, two schools that — while they share three-letter abbreviations — will never be confused with USC or ASU.

Still, early returns are promising.

The UA has sold 18,504 season tickets so far for the 2011 season, 1,404 fewer than at this point a year ago. Last year's schedule included games against USC, Arizona State and Iowa.

Athletic director Greg Byrne said that while "we're never satisfied until we're sold out," he's optimistic the UA can draw fans this fall.
