Ka’Deem Carey tweeted to his 3,000-plus followers Wednesday, announcing himself as the nation’s leading rusher.
“Its official led the nation in rushing yards people I’m taking it,” Carey wrote.
Not so fast.
While it looks like Carey will indeed become the first UA running back since 1955 to lead the nation in rushing yards, it isn’t yet a done deal. Oregon’s Kenjon Barner can still pass Carey if he rushes for 306 yards in tonight’s Fiesta Bowl in Glendale.
