Stepfan Taylor, the senior running back who gained 153 yards on the ground and 60 through the air in Stanford's upset of No. 2 USC on Saturday, was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week today.

Taylor was never tackled for a loss. He scored two touchdowns in the 21-14 stunner.

His teammate Ben Gardner was given the league's defensive honor after recording 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack against the Trojans.

Utah punter Tom Hackett was given the special teams award after placing three kicks inside the BYU 10-yard line in the Utes' win against the rival Cougars.

The Arizona Wildcats nominated quarterback Matt Scott and defensive back Jonathan McKnight after their win against South Carolina State.
