A public memorial has been scheduled for Sunday to honor Dave Sitton, the longtime Arizona Wildcats broadcaster who died earlier this week.
The McKale Center tribute will start at 6 p.m. According to a statement issued by the Sitton family today, "all who knew and were touched in their lives by Dave are invited and welcome to join family and friends in remembering Dave, and celebrating his life."
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The program will include a tribute to Sitton and speakers. On-campus parking will be free.
The UA will also livestream the service on www.arizonawildcats.com.
Sitton died of a heart attack Monday. The longtime UA club rugby coach and emcee and onetime congressional candidate was 58.
