UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — The Arizona Wildcats were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 South in a poll released before today’s conference media day.
The UA — which has been picked to finish in the top half of the league only once since 2004 — received 385 votes, less than division-mates USC, Utah and UCLA.
The Trojans were picked to win the league, theoretically defeating Pac-12 North champion Oregon.
Six teams in the league received more votes than Arizona.
