UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — The Arizona Wildcats were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 South in a poll released before today’s conference media day.

The UA — which has been picked to finish in the top half of the league only once since 2004 — received 385 votes, less than division-mates USC, Utah and UCLA.

The Trojans were picked to win the league, theoretically defeating Pac-12 North champion Oregon.

Six teams in the league received more votes than Arizona.

Here’s a look at the poll, and the votes received:

Pac-12 North

1. Oregon (732 votes, 117 first-place)

2. Stanford (533, 1)

3. Washington (502)

4. Cal (382, 1)

5. Washington State (228)

6. Oregon State (205)

Pac-12 South

2. Utah (514, 1)

3. UCLA (435, 2)
