Tucsonan Glenn Parker, a former Arizona Wildcats football player, will serve as an analyst on the new Pac-12 Networks, the league announced today.
The longtime NFL offensive lineman will do color commentary during games, starting Aug. 31, when he will be paired with play-by-play voice Ted Robinson and sideline reporter Ryan Nece for the San Jose State-Stanford contest.
Parker — who last season called Pac-12 games for the former Versus Network — will also appear on the network’s San Francisco-based studio shows. He’ll rotate with Arizona State grad Adam Archuleta, USC grad Curtis Conway, former UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel and former USC star Ronnie Lott.
The league announced the addition of 11 broadcasters today, including play-by-play announcers Kevin Calabro and Dave Flemming, analyst Coy Wire and sideline reporters Yogi Roth and Brooke Olzendam.
Ashley Adamson, a former Indianapolis sports anchor, will host the studio show.
“We’ve worked hard to establish a team of on-air personalities that brings a wealth of broadcasting and playing credentials to our viewers while also establishing a voice unique to the Pac-12 Networks and our growing brand,” Gary Stevenson, president of Pac-12 Enterprises, said in a statement.
