Despite a 77-69 loss to California on Sunday, the Arizona Wildcats dropped only two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll to No. 9.
Losses by other ranked teams may have helped: Indiana, Florida, Michigan and Kansas were all among the teams who lost over the previous week.
Indiana remained No. 1 despite losing at Illinois, followed by Duke, Miami, Michigan, Gonzaga, Syracuse, Florida, Michigan State, Arizona and Kansas State.
The Wildcats (20-3, 8-3) have beaten both Miami and Florida.
Arizona also fell to No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.

Arizona dropped to No. 7 in the RPI and No. 14 in the Sagarin power ratings. ESPN's power rankings, which noted that Sabatino Chen "says hello" on Thursday in Colorado, have the Wildcats at No. 9.

CBSSports's updated NCAA tournament bracket dropped UA to a No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region, though the Wildcats would still play their first weekend in Salt Lake City.
