Arizona's win over Florida on Saturday moved the Wildcats to No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 media poll, its highest spot since the 2003-04 season.
Ranked No. 8 in both major Top 25 polls last week, Arizona also moved to No. 5 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll. The Wildcats were a spot ahead of Louisville in the AP poll and a spot behind in the ESPN/USA Today poll.
The last time UA jumped in the Top 5 of the polls was Jan. 3, 2004, when both polls had the Wildcats at No. 3. The Wildcats finished that regular season ranked No. 22 by the AP and 18 by ESPN/USA Today, then lost to Seton Hall in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The highest UA was previously ranked under coach Sean Miller was No. 10, on Feb. 21, 2011. The Wildcats finished that season ranked No. 17 in the AP poll and, after reaching the NCAA tournament Elite Eight, were No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll (The AP poll does not rank teams after the NCAA tournament).
Arizona could face another ranked team, San Diego State (18 AP/15 USAToday), in the championship of the Diamond Head Classic. The teams have been placed in opposite brackets of the Honolulu event and could meet in the Dec. 25 final at 7:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Colorado's Andre Roberson was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week after he had 17 points and 20 rebounds in the Buffs' win at Fresno State.
Arizona had nominated Mark Lyons for the award, after he had 14 points, including the game-winning shot, in UA's win over Florida.
