Kyle Fogg may be headed to the D-League now that the Houston Rockets have cut him.

If so, he might reunite with former UA assistant Matt Brase, who is now a coach for Rockets affiliate Rio Grande Valley. The Houston Chronicle said Fogg is a candidate to be picked up by the Vipers.

Brase, the grandson of Lute Olson, was promoted to Russ Pennell's UA coaching staff in 2008-09 after Olson retired. Brase then coached on Pennell's Grand Canyon staff from 2009-11 before joining the Rockets' operations staff last season.

Fogg played in one game for the Rockets, last Wednesday against Oklahoma City, hitting 1 of 2 three-pointers and collecting two rebounds in 4:27 minutes.
