Top prospect Gordon schedules in-home visit with Wildcats

Sean Miller will have an in-home visit with Top 10 forward Aaron Gordon on Sept. 10, according to Gordon’s high school coach.

Tim Kennedy, the coach at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif., said Gordon also plans to return to Arizona for an official visit around the Oct. 21 Red-Blue Game.

Gordon is also planning to see and be seen by Kansas, Kentucky, Washington and Oregon -- he is scheduled to visit Cal unoffically this weekend -- but Kennedy said he doesn’t plan to make a decision until the spring.

“He kind of wants to get a better feel for most of the coaches and see how they do this season,” Kennedy said. “As he gets to know them, he wants to see how they play on the court.”

Meanwhile, Dallas wing Keith Frazier will take an official visit to Arizona at some point this fall, said Stacy Houston, director of Frazier’s travel-ball program. He has already visited UA for last year’s Red-Blue Game.

Houston said that Frazier has not set up a visit schedule yet but definitely would host UA for an in-home visit and also officially visit campus, probably for a regular-season game (Frazier, too, does not plan to sign until the spring).

The good news for fans is that there are no "split national" games anymore, so if you have access to the station, you will get the game no matter where you live.

In the old days, the exhibitions would often be snapped up by KWBA or Fox Sports Arizona but the Pac-12 owns the rights now and it's not known if it will show them or issue a waiver so another entity could pick the games up.
