ESPN's "Bracketology" update today moved Arizona down from a No. 4 to a No. 5 seed after its losses in Los Angeles last weekend, with a first game in San Jose, Calif. and chance to advance in the West Region. Selection committee chair Mike Bobinski has said 1-4 seeds will get preferred geographic placements.
It will be interesting to see how the Wildcats are treated because the committee has long reverted away from emphasizing late-season momentum to judging a team's entire season ... but Arizona has not beaten a likely tourney bound team since Jan. 3 (and that was the controversial Colorado win).

Stu W asked on the previous discussion thread how much of Sean Miller's salary is base compensation. The short answer is that he gets $1.8 million from UA and another $400,000 from IMG for a total of $2.2 million guaranteed plus incentives. He also has a $100,000 annual escalator clause that will take him up to $2.6 million by 2016-17.
