-- Padres manager Terry Kennedy said catcher Yasmani Grandal and infielder Beamer Weems will return from the disabled list on Thursday when the Padres begin a road trip to Sacramento. Both have been out with hamstring injuries.

-- Kennedy said the Padres would probably make room for them by moving a pitcher and a position player from the roster.

-- Trout is back in the Bees' lineup after being hit in the elbow with a pitch Sunday and taking Monday's game off.
