One game after scoring one run in the series-opener against Colorado Springs, the Tucson Padres were shutout 2-0 Wednesday morning in the second game of the four-game series.

The Padres are now 3-11 on the season.

Jorge Reyes started for Tucson and fell to 0-3, going 5 2/3 innings, giving up two runs, nine hits and one walk.

Daniel Robertson was the lone player to have multiple hits, going 2 for 3 with an RBI. The squad has scored just three runs in the last three games total.

The two teams will meet again Thursday at 10:05 a.m. and then on Friday at 5:05 p.m.
