LAS VEGAS — The Oregon Ducks quickly squashed any Utah hope of another upset win, taking tonight's Pac-12 tournament semifinal, 64-45, to set up a finale Saturday against UCLA.
Oregon, the No. 3 seed, held Utah to 29 percent shooting. Jarred DuBois, Thursday night's shooting star, failed to score. Forward Jordan Loveridge went 1-for-10.
The Utes ended a memorable conference tournament run that featured upset wins against No. 7 USC and No. 2 Cal.
“In fairness to them,” Oregon coach Dana Altman said, “that’s their third game."
The Ducks will play the UCLA Bruins at 8 Saturday nigh.
