Every year, we admit this: predicting bowl in August is a most ridiculous exercise.

Still, it's fun.

ESPN.com and SI.com today released their bowl predictions. ESPN.com's two predictors, Mark Schlabach and Brad Edwards, each have the Arizona Wildcats in the postseason — the New Mexico Bowl against San Diego State.

Schlabach and Edwards have USC and Oregon in the national title game, respectively. Each has the opposite  team in the Rose Bowl.

SI.com's Stewart Mandel has USC playing in the Rose Bowl, and Oregon in the title game.
