After leading Cal to its third-straight win, junior guard Allen Crabbe was today named Pac-12 Player of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.

The Los Angeles native scored 39 points over two games in a home sweep of the Southern California schools. Sunday night against USC, Crabbe scored 23 points, including 14 in the final 8:30.

During that time, the Golden Bears went on a 29-14 run to overtake, and defeat, the Trojans. Crabbe added 10 rebounds.

Crabbe was shoved by Cal coach Mike Montgomery earlier in the second half during an emotional exchange. Afterward, Cal athletic director Sandy Barbour called the shove unacceptable.

Crabbe had 16 points and five rebounds Thursday in a win against UCLA.

Crabbe had never won the award until last week, when he was honored after leading Cal to an upset win against the UA.

The Wildcats nominated guard Mark Lyons.
