Salpointe Catholic junior Krystal Quihuis has verbally committed to play golf at Arizona, according to her coach, Michele Murphy.
Murphy said Quihuis and her family are "very excited" even though she won't officially sign for another year.
Quihuis has helped the Lancers win back-to-back team state titles and has won consecutive individual crowns. She has also been the Arizona Daily Star's Southern Arizona girls golfer of the year, two years in row.
