Lyndsay Leikem, who committed to Ole Miss in July, has had a change of plans and will sign with a different school this week.

The early signing period begins Wednesday and on Friday, Leikem will sign with Indiana, according to her coach Michael Perkins.

Ole Miss dismissed its women's basketball coach in October after possible NCAA violations. Leikem, a standout at Flowing Wells, then decided to take visits to other schools and explore her options.

She officially visited Utah and Indiana before deciding to sign with the Hoosiers.

She will be the third local product to sign with a major women's program in the last 12 months. Marana's Jamee Swan is in her freshman season with Colorado and Palo Verde's Darian Saunders is at the University of Missouri.
