Flowing Wells brought a 15-game winning streak into Saturday's Division II state championship game.
The streak didn't get to 16.
The No. 6 Caballeros lost to eighth-seeded Scottsdale Saguaro 49-38 at Jobing. com Arena in their first trip to the state finals since 2008.
Flowing Wells (29-5) entered the fourth quarter down 35-32 but only hit three baskets in the final eight minutes of the game on its way to being outscored 14-6.
