At least one Cienega basketball team is headed to the state finals and the other will have a chance to get there tonight.

The second-seeded Bobcats girls basketball team knocked of No. 10 Scottsdale Saguaro 57-49 this afternoon at Jobing.com Arena in the Division II state semifinals and will play for their first state championship Saturday morning.

Junior Treyanna Clay led Cienega with a game-high 21 points and 15 rebounds against the defending champions while senior Gabby Banales scored 11 and had two assists.

Later tonight, the Cienega boys team will also try to advance to their first state championship game when they play Phoenix Shadow Mountain in the state semifinals. Tip off is scheduled for 7:45.
