High school football: A look at Week 7's matchups

The headliner tonight in Week 7 of high school football is Ironwood Ridge-Mountain View. The Nighthawks hit the road and travel to play the Mountain Lions after back-to-back wins over Tempe Marcos de Niza and Peoria Centennial.

Now, I-Ridge has to refocus and play a Mountain View team that owns a road win at Cienega this season. Nighthawks coach Matt Johnson said the team had a "special meeting" on Tuesday about refocusing and getting ready for Mountain View.

He said practices after the meeting were much better and crisper.

In today's Daily Star, we predicted a 35-17 win for the Nighthawks.
