The Arizona Wildcats will likely wear their navy blue helmets for Saturday's home opener against Toledo, coach Rich Rodriguez said tonight. The weekly gear will be decided by a vote of the team's seniors.
Rodriguez mentioned the helmet news on the debut of his weekly radio show. The Wildcats have been wearing the lids throughout training camp.
Earlier today, Rodriguez said the seniors will decide what the team wears on a weekly basis.
"We've got several combinations this year," he said. "I don't know if we're going to let it out early or not. I guess I'm going to have to ask them, the seniors."
