Weird news coming down tonight, as we've learned that wide receiver Bug Wright has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules. He won't travel with the team to Eugene, Ore., this week, and is doubtful to rejoin the team this year.
From what I've heard, the phrasing — "unspecified violation of team rules" — applies. Wright's problems are not legal or academic in nature, leaving a pretty narrow area from which to choose. Maybe Mike Stoops will expand on it when he meets with the media Tuesday; for now, though, the coach is offering few details. He confirmed the suspension Monday night.
