Arizona Wildcats safety Adam Hall re-injured his surgically repaired right knee while chasing a play in Saturday’s spring game at Kino Stadium, not hitting wide receiver Sean Willett a few plays earlier. Coach Rich Rodriguez  initially indicated that Hall was injured on the hit.

Hall’s injury was documented on video by Tucson News Now, the news organization that comprises Channels 11 and 13. You can watch by clicking here, or simply watch here:

In the video, Hall appears to slip while attempting to make a tackle on a running play. Hall jumps to his feet after slipping, aware that he's re-injured his knee.

Hall tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, he tweeted Saturday. Recovery typically takes between six and nine months.

Rodriguez is expected to comment on Hall's injury and recovery time following today's practice, the Wildcats final one of spring.
