For the second time in five days, the Arizona Wildcats have a chance to beat their in-state rivals.

After what happened Tuesday, the UA will be extra motivated.

Arizona State defeated the Wildcats 81-77 in double-overtime when the teams last met.

Today's game, played at 1 p.m. inside Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, marks the return engagement in a unique "rivalry week" between the Pac-12 Conference rivals.

Arizona (12-14 overall, 4-11 Pac-12) is led by senior guard Davellyn Whyte, who registered the program's first-ever triple-double in Tuesday's loss. She scored 31 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and dished 10 assists. ASU prevailed when Micaela Pickens and Janae Fulcher hit back-to-back layups with less than 1 minute left. The Sun Devils (12-15, 4-11) then watched as Whyte missed a three-pointer, and held on.
