The UA will commemorate the 40th birthday of McKale Center tonight, when Arizona takes on Stanford at 7 p.m. Here's a look at the Wildcats' arena through the years:

Feb. 1, 1973

First game at McKale, above. Coniel Norman and Eric Money, part of Fred Snowden's Kiddie Corps, combined to score 57 as the UA beat Wyoming 87-69.

Attendance at the McKale opener, an increase of 10,452 fans from the UA's final game in Bear Down Gym nine days earlier.

Cats' all-time winning percentage in McKale. The UA is 505-101 in the arena, including 10-1 this season behind senior Solomon Hill & Co.
