The UA women's basketball team will try to improve on its shooting - and pull back to even in conference play - when it takes on Oregon today at McKale Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Arizona (9-5 overall, 1-2 Pac-12) hit just 27 percent of its field goal attempts in Friday's home loss to Oregon State.
The Wildcats were even worse from three-point range, connecting on just 2 of 12 attempts. Senior guard Davellyn Whyte scored a game-high 19 points on 8-of-26 shooting. Only one other UA player, Carissa Crutchfield, finished with double-digits in points at 10.
Oregon (2-13, 0-3) struggled against Arizona State Friday night and fell 60-45. The Ducks have lost their last five games by an average of 18.4 points.
