Guard Davellyn Whyte will aim for her third double-double in as many conference games tonight, when the UA opens its Pac-12 home schedule against Oregon State. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at McKale Center.
The Wildcats (9-4 overall, 1-1 Pac-12) split a road series against the Washington schools last week.
Whyte posted double-doubles in both games, scoring 12 points and registering 11 assists in a win over Washington State; two days later, the senior guard posted 17 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to the Huskies.
Oregon State (6-8, 0-2) was swept at USC and UCLA in the first week of conference play. Freshman Jamie Weisner leads OSU with 11.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
The Beavers lead the Pac-12 with 6.1 blocked shots per game.
Arizona and Oregon State met just once last season. The Wildcats won 58-56 on the road.
