Five University of Arizona coaches had their contracts approved by the Arizona Board of Regents this week.
Four of the coaches earned three-year renewals and new women's and men's swim coach, Eric Hansen, had his three-year deal approved.
Here's how it broke down:
• Niya Butts, women's basketball: 3-year extension, $10,000 raise to $210,000
• Tad Berkowitz, men's tennis: 3-year extension, raise of $4,937 to $67,000
• Mike Candrea, softball: 3-year extension, $22,850 raise to $162,000
• Eric Hansen, women's and men's swimming and diving: 3-year deal, $120,000
• David Rubio, volleyball: 3-year extension, $2,500 raise to $97,850
