Arizona Wildcats guard Davellyn Whyte was named to the All-Pac-12 team Tuesday night for the fourth straight year. Today, she will begin her final Pac-12 tournament.

Arizona (12-15, 4-12) faces Utah (17-12, 8-10) in a first-round game at 3:30 p.m. at KeyArena in Seattle. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Arizona.

Whyte, a senior, leads the team with per-game averages of 16.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.6 steals.

"It is a huge honor to be named to the All-Pac-12 team again this year," Whyte said in a news release after being selected by conference coaches. "I have truly enjoyed playing in such a prestigious conference such as the Pac-12, and Arizona has provided me with great opportunities."

The Wildcats fell to USC 74-62 on Friday night and are coming off a 68-57 loss to No. 16 UCLA on Sunday; Utah has won six of its last eight games.

Arizona and Utah have met twice this season with the Wildcats winning both.

"There are some things that we need to get better at," said Anthony Levrets, Utah's third-year coach. "The main thing is at our offensive end of the floor we have to be able to handle and attack their pressure, and when we get to the half court we need to … make them guard us in the half court once we do beat their pressure."

Utah, led by junior Michelle Plouffe with 16.7 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game, ranks first in the Pac-12 in three-point shooting percentage (.345).

As a senior, Whyte emerged as one of the best players in UA women's basketball history. She is second on the career scoring list (2,020 points) and the second UA player to score 2,000 points. Adia Barnes scored 2,237 points.

Whyte ranks second on the career steals list with 266, 38 shy of Dee-Dee Wheeler's 304.

Whyte has started every UA game in the past four years, tallying 4,206 minutes, the most in school history.

Whyte was also selected to the media's All-Pac-12 team Monday, an honor she received three out of four years.

Junior Kama Griffitts averages in double digits with 11.0 points per game, and junior Alli Gloyd averages 9.6 points and six rebounds.

Today's winner will play No. 13 UCLA at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
