Kyle Anderson, who scored 17 points to lead the UCLA Bruins past the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion, was named Pac-12 Player of the Week today.

The 6-foot-9 freshman guard had 15 first-half points against the UA, and finished with seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal.

In an overtime win Wednesday against Arizona State, Anderson scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, his eighth double-double of the season. He added four blocks, three assists and a steal.

Anderson had never before won the league's weekly onor.

The UA nominated senior wing Kevin Parrom.
