Tyler Bortnik singled in Wladimir Sutil in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday, lifting the host Reno Aces over the Tucson Padres 2-1.
The loss, Tucson's third straight walk-off defeat, ended the Padres season at 56-88. They finished last in the Pacific Coast League Southern Division.
Neal Wagner (4-2) took the loss for the Padres. He came on in the eighth in relief of Thad Weber, who allowed seven hits and one run over seven innings.
