Led by the Deckers, Tucson had 11 hits Tuesday night, and the visiting Padres defeated Fresno 7-2.
Jaff Decker had three hits, and Cody Decker added two. Jonathan Galvez also had two hits, and starting pitcher Robbie Erlin singled in the fourth when he beat out a bunt while trying to sacrifice Jaff Decker to second. Both scored later in the inning to put the Padres up 5-2.
Rene Rivera's two-run single in the seventh put Tucson up 7-2.
Erlin (5-1) allowed two runs- one earned - in five innings. He struck out six and walked one.
Erlin gave up a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first to Gary Brown and a run-scoring triple in the second to Kensuke Tanaka.
The triple produced an unearned run because it followed an error by shortstop Gregorio Petit on what would have been the third out of the inning.
Tucson's Brad Boxberger and Brad Brach each pitched two shutout innings of relief.
