Jedd Gyorko belted a two-run homer in the first inning, and four Tucson pitchers combined for a shutout as the Padres beat host Fresno 5-0 to salvage a split in Sunday's doubleheader.

Tucson fell to Fresno 5-0 in the first game as Eddie Kunz, called up from Double-A, allowed 11 hits and five runs over six innings.

In the second game, Daniel Robertson's two-run single in the fourth inning put Tucson up 4-0, and Vince Belnome's pinch-hit RBI triple in the sixth made it 5-0.

Padres starter Josh Spence allowed two hits over four innings, and relievers Jorge Reyes, Neil Wagner and Jason Ray each pitched a scoreless inning. Reyes earned his 10th win of the year.

Tucson faces Fresno tonight and tomorrow, and comes home to play Colorado Springs on Wednesday.
