Tucson starter Bear Bay allowed five hits over seven strong innings Thursday, and the Padres topped host Salt Lake 3-1, completing a four-game sweep of the Bees.

Bay (4-9) walked one and struck out four, Jorge Reyes pitched a perfect eighth inning, and Jason Ray added a scoreless ninth for this third save.

Shortstop Andy Parrino, who finished with three hits, gave the Padres the lead for good in the seventh when his two-out double scored Jonathan Roof.
