Contrary to the usual custom, there will be school Friday in the public schools of Tucson, and the members of the school board request that parents of school children co-operate with the board in seeing that the children attend school on that day.
Heretofore it has been the custom to grant a holiday to the children on the day following Thanksgiving, but owing to the number of holidays which have been granted to the pupils, the board at the meeting yesterday decided that there would be a session Friday.
