CLIFTON - A new station was placed upon the map of the A. & N. M. railway last Monday morning. Its name is "Smelter," and will be more familiarly known to Cliftonites as the Stockyards. It is the site chosen for the new reduction plant of the Arizona Copper company, limited, and the actual construction work was begun last Monday morning and at present not less than 150 men are employed and additional working men are being added to the working force daily.
